The Portland International Airport project was designed, fabricated and installed by Basic Fire
Protection, Inc. During the whole project the airport stayed fully
operational.
Basic Facts:
Over 5200 fire sprinklers were installed throughout all
areas
36 zones with control valves, flow switches and anti-tamper switches and sprinkler standpipes.
Cooperation, scheduling and execution of installation made this project a complete success for owners, passengers, Hoffman Construction, Basic Fire Protection, Inc. and Factory Mutual Insurance.
